CanBiocin was founded over two decades ago, driven by a deep passion for understanding the benefits that bacteria can provide. Most often when people think of bacteria it is in the context of disease or illness. Probiotic bacteria, however, play an integral role in animal health and wellness. Animal welfare is supported by our relentless pursuit of innovation and seeking to better understand how overall health is impacted by a healthy intestinal microbiome. A healthy intestinal microbiome is comprised of billions of “good bacteria” that impact every body system. From the beginning, our mission has been to enrich the lives of pets and their owners through the power of natural, science-backed solutions. One of CanBiocin’s key strengths is your approach to strain selection. Can you tell us more about this?

I grew up with an interest in having animals live their best lives; first as a veterinarian and now as the leader of an innovative biotechnology company.
